Editorial Policy
How GearPulse researches, writes, credits, corrects, and monetizes editorial work.
GearPulse exists to publish useful, original editorial work. The site is not a scraper, press-release mirror, or affiliate doorway. Each article should add context, judgment, comparison, or practical interpretation beyond the source material it cites.
Source standards
Product claims, specifications, dates, pricing, and technical details are checked against official manufacturer, organizer, platform, or owner sources whenever available. Articles may also use reputable specialist publications, measurement sites, reviews, videos, and primary documents for additional context.
Original value
GearPulse articles are written to synthesize information, not copy it. Useful additions may include buyer guidance, caveats, alternatives, tables, pros and cons, real-world implications, or a clearly reasoned opinion.
Hands-on disclosure
When GearPulse has used or tested a product, the article may say so. When an article is based on official information, published testing, or other reviewers' work, it should avoid implying direct hands-on testing.
Images and credits
GearPulse prefers official manufacturer, organizer, team, studio, or owner images. Images are credited in article captions. Generated editorial images are identified as generated when used.
Corrections
Corrections are welcome. Send a link, the disputed sentence, and supporting source material to costin.rosu@gearpulse.site. Material factual errors will be corrected as soon as practical.
Advertising and affiliate links
Advertising and affiliate links help support the site, but they do not control editorial conclusions. Sponsored content, if published, must be clearly identified.
